skyVIEW was developed for ideal patient positioning in a lying down position, providing our patients with a more comfortable and relaxed environment for their 3D scan and producing higher quality images as a result of less patient movement during the scan. This all happens in a superfast 7 second scan.

The 3D CBCT high definition images have less distortion, more precise and reliable measurements, and outstanding sensitivity at the lowest possible doses of radiation, comparable to those of typical panoramic x-ray exposure. CBCT will help provide more information on the extent of periapical lesions not always visible on conventional film or even digital x-rays if the cortical bone has not yet been compromised, enabling more complex root canal anatomy to be more easily identifiable and pathologic lesions to be diagnosed at earlier stages. The skyVIEW system is fully compatible with all available Dicom 3D implant and restorative treatment planning software.

Patients can participate in the entire treatment planning process for both Endodontic and Implant surgical cases as they are educated about their dentistry in 3 Dimensions and can see first hand if there is bone deficiency requiring bone grafting or pathology which needs to be addressed. We intend to utilize this advanced imaging device to allow true restoratively driven dental treatment to plan implant placement sites which take into account actual bone volume and quality and anatomy at each site to more accurately position a prosthesis in the most esthetically and functionally desirable position.
